Who we are

Hi! My name is Tracy. I look after the booking of Villa 33 on behalf of the Oliver family.

My mother-in-law, Valerie and father-in-law Roy, bought Villa 33 in 1999 and lived between their home in Winchester and the villa for a number of years. Roy and Valerie were extremely proud of the villa and loved staying in Alvor and enjoying the wonderful Portuguese hospitality, the delicious seafood, spectacular coastal views and of course, the lovely hot sunny weather!

My husband Ian and I, have spent many long happy summer holidays at Villa 33 with our two children through their teenage years - an absolute bonus for us! To this day, our son and daughter, regularly go with their friends to stay at the Villa, which they regard as their home in the Algarve.

Sadly in 2007 Roy died and it became apparent that in order to keep the villa we would have to share. So, 2009 was our first rental season and I am happy to say we still have returning guests from that year.

It has been a rewarding and interesting experience to welcome guests to enjoy the Villa just as much as we have over the years. New friends have been made with many of our returning guests. Their children enjoy the pool and all Alvor has to offer, as much as we did with our children.

Villa 33 has a magic about it, that many of our guests have verified. I welcome you to explore our site and come and enjoy a holiday in our home from home at Alvor Villa 33.

I’m just wanting to thank you for all the arrangements that made Villa 33 such a fantastic week for us!

The Villa is superb and I had not appreciated the ‘new’ upstairs bedroom and wet room, the quality of your refurbishments just about everywhere since we were last there, and the standards of decorating and maintenance. Rosa and Carla were as usual absolutely spot on.

I honestly think it’s the best Villa for a family holiday I can think of.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay in Alvor Villa 33. Thank you Tracy and Ian for letting us stay in your beautiful Villa. The villa is well equipped with everything you need and great having the table tennis table. The pool is a lovely size and kept pristine with surrounding gardens making it tranquil. Alvor fishing village is a 25 -30 minute easy walk or €5 in a taxi where you will find lots of lovely restaurants. We would recommend 4Rais rooftop; food was amazing; ALota, very good – Atlantida on the beach was very friendly and well looked after with good food. Vagabond – ask to sit on the rooftop! all very good food and reasonably priced. The beach is close by which is beautiful and well worth a few visits. We will definitely be returning

Just returned from a week at this stunning Villa.

It is spacious, luxurious and private. The pool and pool area are fantastic.

The location is perfect being only 20 minutes from superb restaurants, bars and the sandy beach.

With a new modern supermarket just a couple of minute’s drive away, shopping for provisions is a pleasure not a chore.

A perfect holiday destination for friends and/or family – we will definitely return next year

For the last 12 years we have been holidaying at the wonderful Alvor Villa 33. It really is home from home, the villa has everything you need, so comfortable and spotless. The pool is wonderful and the 1st tee only a few mins walk, what more could you want!! We had the most fabulous and relaxing time. Thank you Tracy for sharing your wonderful villa with us, you are an absolute pleasure to deal with, efficient as always. We were very impressed with the condition, quality and standard of the villa, we had a very relaxing week and enjoyed the tranquillity of the location. What a fantastic place to spend 10 glorious days. This is our second stay at this fabulous Villa and hopefully not our last, a holiday with a touch of class in our opinion, fantastic roomy house with amazing rooms and finishing touches, a superb pool and sun lounging area. It’s a great villa in our opinion and we would go back in a heart-beat. Tracy, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with and Rosa and Carla from CAPS, the management company are lovely and went out of their way to help make our visit an enjoyable experience. The villa is located in a lovely peaceful setting with the stunning town of Alvor a twenty minute walk away with its beautiful golden sandy beaches, the fantastic bars, taverns and restaurants and the stunning harbour. Being here for a golfing break ourselves, the villa is ideally located with Alto Golf Club a five minute drive away and numerous other courses all within twenty minute drives.
