The Villa
Our beautiful, peaceful, family villa, is near to the Alto Golf Pestana course and close to the fishing village of Alvor. Only a 5 minute walk to a modern supermarket with all amenities, petrol and cafe.
Set in secluded mature gardens with a private 12 x 5m south facing pool, BBQ terrace, IPTV & WIFI the villa offers exclusive comfortable and homely facilities with 4 bedrooms sleeping 8+1.
We have a wonderful team led by Rosa in Alvor who will meet & greet you and make sure your holiday runs smoothly.

Alvor
Alvor retains much of its old world fishing village charm with cobbled streets and working fishing vessels. It is a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes taxi/car drive from the villa, and has many very good restaurants with the best fresh fish, a variety of bars and some shops.
The picturesque ochre sandstone cliffs near the villa offer beautiful coastal walks & secluded sandy coves & grottos which link to the stunning beach of Praia dos Tres Irmaos (3 brothers) with the iconic rock formations after which it is named. The long sandy Alvor beach bordered in places by very good beach restaurant leads to the elevated boardwalk across the dunes alongside the river estuary which forms the Ria de Alvor Nature Reserve which makes a great place for a walk or bicycle and is a haven for wildlife.
The harbour is the heart of the village with a wide palm lined marina front with bars which is a wonderful place to sit for a drink and to one side are the working fisherman huts. Dolphin watching, canoe trips & river trips are all available locally from Alvor harbour or relax and watch the local fishermen or visiting yachts in the inner lagoon at the harbour-side cafes. There is some evening entertainment in the main street of Alvor. The lively resort of Praia de Rocha and the town of Portimao are both approx 5km away.
Alto Golf - Pestana
The Alto Golf - Pestana course is a 5 minute walk from the villa.
This is legendary golf course - is the last designed by architect Sir Henry Cotton, features the 600 meter par 5 known as the "Sir Henry challenge", and what a challenge it is!
Pestana Alto is synonymous with design and play, and in a world of modern, complex course design, more and more people look back at the classics and see how course design should be: about challenge and playability for all handicap levels.
Located on the edge of the picturesque fishing village of Alvor, the rolling fairways and elevated greens test all and reward anyone who enjoys thinking about their game.
The Algarve
Alvor is situated in the West part of the Algarve (barlavento) of the Algarve in Portugal.

The Algarve is wonderfully varied, able to appeal to a wide cross section of tourists, there are pristine beaches for families, waterparks for teenagers, buzzing nightlife for young couples and historic towns for cultural tours.
Alvor Villa 33 is marked on the map along with Alvor village. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into Alvor from the Villa. There are plenty of taxis in Alvor, it typically costs €6 each way and takes about 5 minutes from the Villa to Alvor.
